Ten Tips for CS

1) Bind Q to your pistol key, when you have to reload you can quickly switch to your sidearm and then fire back at your adverseries.

2) Sniping is not camping, camping is when a player is hiding in a secluded area without a scope weapon. (such as an automatic) Sniping is a good way to defend an area.

3) Use fire teams! Get one player with a long range weapon or an accurate one (such as the Colt M4) to go with someone who as an grozav close range firearm like the Benelli Mega 90 so they can cover their team mate if they are assaulted close range- this really applies if their team mate is using a sniper rifle. Make sure a player with a long range firearm has an accurate close range sidearm and vice versa for their team mate.

4) Walk! (default key: Shift). Stealth and Speed are the key of CS. If an enemy is nearby (you'll know its an enemy if you have a radar and none of your team are close to you) you can sneak to a better position and get ready to cap his ass.

5) Use HE and Flashbang Grenades. A Flashbang grenade can blind the opposition while a fireteam assaults their position. HE Grenades can soften the enemy and then someone can go and pick them off. Or HE Grenades can be used as a diversion, to get the enemy to retreat as you get to a better position.

6) Provide cover fire. If 2-4 people fire at a door or opening at once this can keep the hostiles from advancing into your territory. Then a team mate can quickly get to a different post.

7) To beat that camper you need to think like a camper! Learn the map's camping spots, that way you'll never be surprised!

8) Burst fire with the AK can an otherwise hunk of junk into the ultimate killing utility, same goes with other guns.

9) Aim for the chest or neck to get headshots, a sniper rifle will get headshots if you hit the neck or just below(AWM)(For the Steyr Scout hit the neck) For an AK and M4 hit the upper chest, (also with other SMGS and ARifles). Aim for the neck with pistols close range, upperchest towards neck at medium/long range. Combine with tip 8.

10) You'll need to be fast, efficient, quiet and be able to remain concentration in order to take down the opposition. Keep your wits about you and make sure you don't run into trouble, make sure you stick to your role in your team's strategy and don't stray. If you need to make your way to a new post do it, quickly and quietly. (combine with tip 6 if an enemy controlled area) 8-)
